Choose your profile
Start locally without an account, or sign in and create a profile for syncing. Choose a currency and an optional monthly budget.

Add an expense
Enter the amount, category, and date. Photograph or scan a receipt, or attach a PDF. Record expenses offline too.

Keep track together
View spending by month and category. Invite people to a profile and choose whether they can edit or only view it.

Choose a period and prepare an accountant export. Merge a JSON backup into a profile or replace its contents.
Is Cashnote really free?
Yes. All features are free. An account includes 100 MB of attachments per owner; optional Cashnote Plus raises the limit to 5 GB.
What works offline?
Use saved profiles and record expenses offline. Local profiles do not sync; signed-in profiles sync after reconnecting. Download cloud attachments in advance.
Who can see my expenses?
Only members of that shared profile. An invitation to Household doesn’t give access to your personal or work profiles.
Can I take my data with me?
In Settings, export the selected profile to CSV for spreadsheets or JSON for backup. Save attachment files separately. More about your data.
